4. Data collected when visiting this website

When you access this website, our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), automatically collects information in so-called server log files transmitted by your browser. This typically includes: the page requested, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, and the requesting IP address. This data is used exclusively to ensure smooth operation and to improve the security of our website, and is not combined with other data sources. Netlify acts as our data processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR; the corresponding data processing agreement is automatically part of our contractual relationship with Netlify under its terms of service. As Netlify is a US-based company, this involves a transfer of data to a third country; the primary safeguard for this is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), supplemented by Standard Contractual Clauses should the DPF ever be invalidated. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website).

5. Contact form and getting in touch

On our contact page you can fill in a form with your name, practice/clinic, email address, phone number and your enquiry. For the contact form, we use the "Netlify Forms" feature of our hosting provider Netlify, Inc. (see Section 4 regarding data processing and the transfer to the US). When you submit the form, the data you enter is transmitted to and stored by Netlify, and additionally forwarded by email to our inbox (info(at)uropront.com). As soon as you contact us this way or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, enquiry) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiry) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data — including the copy of the submission stored in Netlify's forms dashboard — is deleted once it is no longer required to process your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply; we review and delete submissions stored at Netlify at regular intervals for this purpose.

6. Fonts

This website loads the Comfortaa and Inter fonts locally from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font provider, and no data is transmitted to third parties as a result.

7. Content embedded from www.otopront.de

On some pages we embed product images hosted on the domain www.otopront.de. As this domain belongs to our own company (Happersberger otopront GmbH), no data is transferred to third parties as a result.

8. Cookies and consent management

This website uses a cookie consent process (cookie banner) through which you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, in particular the Google Analytics statistics cookies described below. Technically necessary storage technologies, in particular the local storage of your cookie selection in your browser (localStorage), are used on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical operation of the website). You can review, change or withdraw your selection at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this website.

9. Google Analytics 4

With your prior, explicit consent only, this website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), measurement ID G-ZV4BQ9QX8V.

Google Analytics is only loaded and becomes active after you have consented to statistics cookies via our cookie consent banner. Without this consent, no data is transmitted to Google. We implement Google Consent Mode v2 in Basic mode: before your consent, the storage states analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to "denied"; only once you consent to statistics cookies is analytics_storage updated to "granted". As we do not use any Google advertising features, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization remain permanently set to "denied".

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 processes data such as pages viewed, time spent on the site, approximate location (based on the IP address, which Google truncates/pseudonymises), device and operating system used, browser type, and interactions with the website, for the purpose of analysing the use of this website. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

uropront.com uses its own, separate Google Analytics 4 property. Analytics data for uropront.com is collected independently of uropront.de, and no cross-domain measurement is configured between the two domains.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this website; from the moment of withdrawal, no further data will be transmitted to Google Analytics.

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this privacy policy whenever our data processing changes. The version in force at the time of your visit applies.
